The latest of David Pogue: Yahoo's new technology site!

It was released last week the new Yahoo's tech site! – and Marissa Mayer, once again, right. Capitaneada by David Pogue, who until last year signed one of the most read and respected columns for evaluating technology products in the New York Times, the new website specialized in technology has become too much!

First, by the design of the home, presented as a photo album, with 4 headline highlights, 2 secondary to the side and more at least 12 call lines – some animated.

Navigation is even better than the presentation: Yahoo Tech! behaves like a blog site, as when you go down the entire screen, more post lines are loaded. The top menu, where the search box and login accesses to the postcard and email, are located, follow the scroll.

When you click on a highlight, the post is open in the middle of the screen, between the call lines, without changing page, but with specific user-friendly URL. You're tired of the text, aren't you? You can close it with the X button or just keep rolling the page up or down behind another subject that interests you.

In the content, besides the classic reviews of Pogue products (in video and text), there are also columnists, tutorials and a kind of office to take questions with the editor and news – categories that form the main menu. This flexibility allowed during CES 2014 (the largest technology fair on the planet), a section called " The best of CES" was created and was highlighted.

The most interesting section of the site, however, is called "Kickstarter Reviews", which, as the name already says, brings reviews of future products " that use the online platform for funding innovative projects to try to make it possible. The goal, of course, is to show the lay public whether it is really worth giving money to make a certain product win the market or whether it is worth buying one that is already being marketed.

To better understand the concept behind the new site – Yahoo! Tech 1.0, as he points out - read Pogue's editorial, Here..
