National VOX Digital Marketing Analyst participates in TDC2012

It started today in São José, in Greater Florianópolis, the TDC 2012 – The Developers Conference, an event that has been organized for six years by Globalcode, a company specialized in IT educational solutions. The objective is to promote discussion among the most diverse technological communities about the market's novelties and their challenges. In this year's edition, Clear Education and Innovation and Digital Results were invited to coordinate the Digital Marketing trail and, at the invitation of Clear, our Digital Marketing Analyst, Alanna Kern, will participate in the event.

Graduated in Journalism from Unisur, Alanna had her first experience with social media when she went to South Africa to cover the 2010 World Cup. Since then, he has fallen in love with the opportunities that these means enable and began to look for specific courses in the area. After working at Cafundó Studio Creative as Brand Connector, today he is part of the team of National VOX. In addition, it also features a webseries program on the Florianópolis Canal 20, A Gêmez Fas Série, and is a reporter on Regional Radio and X FM at the Avaí and Figueirense games.

“ In journalism, we study that there is never a single version of a fact. And in Digital Marketing, it's no different. We work with different customer profiles, strategies, audiences, and we should be prepared for that. The challenges are great, and because it is a relatively new area in the market, there is no ready-to-success formula. The good thing is that we can let the imagination flow and trace the strategies we want”, comments the analyst.

According to ComScore data, between 2007 and 2011, social media grew by over 170% in Brazil alone. In addition, Brazilians spend on average six hours connected on networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. For this reason, the online presence of large, medium and small companies also grows in arithmetic progression, also increasing the number of professionals involved in this process. They are metrics, SEO, social media, developers, designers and managers who dedicate their studies and work to digital marketing.

What are the profiles, challenges, joys and sorrows of these professionals? This is what the debate “Generalist or Specialist – Debate with SC professionals on the profile, challenges, joys and sadness of the analyst”, mediated by Vanessa Aguiar, proposes to discuss this Sunday, August 26th, at 1:10 p.m., in the Estacio de Sá. In addition to Alanna Kern, Bruna Pires, Clear Education and Innovation, Jorge Fernandes, YoungArts and Bruno Kaneoya will participate in the debate.
