Apple published on Friday (05) a video in honor of its co-founder Steve Jobs, who died a year ago.
The video brings together speeches and photos of Jobs during product presentations such as iMac, iPod, iPhone. “This is in Apple’s DNA. Technology alone is not enough. It is the marriage of technology to the arts, to the humanities”, he says in part of the video.
The video is followed by a message from Apple's current CEO, Tim Cook, to Jobs.
“ I hope everyone will reflect on the extraordinary life and the many paths Steve has gone to a better world,” he says.
“ One of the biggest things Steve gave the world was Apple. No other company has inspired so much creativity or set such high standards for itself. Our values originated with him and his spirit will forever be in the foundation of Apple. It is a wonderful tribute to Steve’s memory and everything he represented,” Cook said.
Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011, at the age of 56, after living for years with pancreatic cancer identified in 2004.
