In just 10 days, the campaign “Floripa no Guinness”, promoted by the ReOil project of the Florianópolis Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIF), has already collected 3.24,000 liters of cooking oil, almost one third of the final objective.
The goal is to collect 10,000 liters in one month and mark Florianópolis in the Guinness Book, the Book of Records, as the city that recycles most cooking oil in the world, an example of environmental protection. The fundraiser goes on until the 30th.
Participation in the campaign is simple: the population needs to store cooking oil used in PET bottles and look for one of the Voluntary Delivery Points (PEV’s) of the ReOil project.
The addresses of each of the ENP’s, in addition to all the campaign information, such as oil counting and the school lecture schedule, are in the www.floripanoguiness.com.br.
