A ACAM is a private law institution, of non-profit or economic associative nature for its members, with headquarters and forum in the city of Florianópolis / SC, being governed by its own Statute and relevant legislation. The ACAM is characterized by a Non-Governmental Organization – NGO.
The entity directs its actions and reflections to 200 children and adolescents, residents of Morro do Mocotó, in a situation of vulnerability and social risk, impoverished from the socio-economic point of view, to whom, in general, the opportunities to develop their potential as a result of the process of social exclusion have been denied. The age group of care is 5 to 15 years, with the participation criterion being attending official school.
