According to data released by Anatel, by July 2012, Brazil had 256 million active cell phone lines. The number of mobile phones connected to the internet via 3G totaled 54.3 million.
Santa Catarina stands out among the states with the highest digital inclusion in the country and Florianópolis is the capital that has the most residences with computers and the fourth in internet access.
