The new site of Newspaper Image of the Island, fortnight anniversary that has been circulating in the island of Santa Catarina since May 1995 and whose electronic version was released in 1999, is new face. The graphic design and development were made by National VOX – Digital Agency, based in Florianópolis.
The site has gained a layout that privileges the photos, without neglecting the navigability and ease of access to information. The new site is also integrated into the social networks of the newspaper, as each article can now be sent by email, like and shared on Facebook.
In addition, the site allows access on tablets and smartphones without prejudice to content and features. This is especially remarkable in reading the printed edition file: in pdf, it can be downloaded, read in the browser itself or in any other application that is integrated into the device's operating system.
The new site also offers a search system that allows you to find content from keywords. Another novelty is related news, which appears at the end of each content, suggesting the reading of related issues previously published.
