Florianópolis is the capital with the most houses with computers.
Above the national and global average, SC was highlighted in the research Map of Digital Inclusion, which will be released today by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Florianópolis also caught the eye.
Besides having the best rates among the capitals, it is the second city in the country with more residents with computer at home and the fourth in access to the internet in residence.
The study shows that 54.03% of people in SC have computers at home, well ahead of the average of 21.79% registered in the country. Regarding internet connection, 41.66% of the homes in Santa Catarina have the service, while in Brazil the average is 14.74% and in the world, 33.49%.
The research shows that the State is not only outstanding in quantity, but also in quality. Among the computers connected to the network in SC, 58.65% use broadband, better national performance.
