Vine is a breeze in the Twitter universe?

Twitter has completed seven years of existence and only 40% of users post it on the microblog. This does not mean that the social network created by Jack Dorsey in the United States, and that it only loses importance to Facebook in terms of platforming, is fading. There are 200 million active accounts, those in which the user has logged in at least once in the last 30 days. Twitter monitoring itself, pointed out that many accounts were created by users to consume content produced by third parties. And that can't be ignored between the marks.

As an instant source of information, the network symbolized by the blue bird does not lose to anyone on the internet. Whoever has been following Twitter since its inception knows that the great events of humanity in recent years have been counted (twisted) first on the microblog that accepts only 140 characters and is there, its characteristic in relation to other networks.

I watched the Internet, the disclosure of the name of the new Pope, during the recent conclave. While monitoring Facebook and other news sites such as CNN, UOL and G1 , he kept an eye on TweetDeck updates with several open accounts. Since the information is too fast, whoever gave the scoop first would be in profit. For it was on Twitter that I read the famous phrase “The Pope is Argentine”, a few seconds before seeing in other places.

Once again, Twitter for me, it came back to me, like the day they reported Michael Jackson's death. And those who are networked have the option to consume and mainly share. Of course, you can't say the tool is perfect. It has its limitations on text/space and a timeline still dominated by boredom, because depending on who you follow, it's that things happen. Maybe that's why Vine can represent a breeze in the climate of instant disclosure, promoting ideas, projects and brands.

Purchased by Twitter six months after being launched by a New York startup, Vine is already very successful in the United States and is already named as a new social media fever. The app that can only be downloaded on your iPhone for the time being allows you to record videos by the device with up to six seconds. And that, believe me, is something you can show interesting things. Handling is very easy. Just log in with the Twitter account, click on the camera icon and shoot with your finger on the screen. If you take your finger off, it pauses and you can do several sequences that are already edited, resulting in a micro video that is fast to load, view and share even on Facebook. Just like Mobile.

I see good winds blowing for Twitter advertising. The image content is now aggregated by the network. I'm still testing Vine and I see many silly posts, but also good ideas, creativity and brands showing behind the scenes events, lightning actions and product sales. If Facebook bet on Instagram and became the king of photo apps, Twitter now attacks and wants to be the king of the video in short messages. Nothing that's gonna threaten Google and the YouTube giant. Checking the next Tweets.
