Why doesn't your website bring you a return?

By André Silva

Many sites still have much to improve in the way they transmit or conduct marketing to their visitor.

No matter what the goal is – selling a product, getting leads, being contacted or simply transmitting a message – it is extremely important to approach your audience correctly.

All of this comes down to the following:

– know the primary needs of our potential client?
– know what he values most?
- know what his problem is at the moment?

Perception of the audience

To sell a product effectively, you have to understand who we're selling it to. Otherwise, how...

The states of your hearing

State 1. Those who don't know they have a need.
The potential customer doesn't know he needs the product and doesn't even know he has a problem.
How do I hit them? Go to the place where you meet, show them you have a problem.

State 2. You know you have a need, but you don't know there's a solution.
The potential customer knows he has a need, but he doesn't know there are products or services to solve this need.
Audience looking for a solution. Try to describe and inform them about possible solutions.

State 3. You know there are solutions, but not one that solves your problem.
The potential customer knows there are several products, but he has not yet found the product that solves your problem.
Send that your product is unique, stands out and is advantageous.

State 4. You know the product that solves your problem, but you're not convinced.
The potential customer knows the product, but still doesn't want it.
At this point try to convey the advantages you would have if you bought your product.

State 5. You know
The potential customer knows his pro-tude, and he's ready to buy.

It's essential to understand where your audience fits. Otherwise, marketing is impossible to be effective.

Example: if you want to sell a hair loss product, the way you approach and sell your product to an audience in State 5 (Knowledge but not convinced) is completely different from the way you would approach in State 1 (you don't know, or you don't want to believe that you are falling hair).

Conclusion

Studies show that approaching the audience realizing what state they are in undoubtedly increases the conversion rate of their site. The correct approach makes people realize how your product can help them, which significantly increases the visitor's likelihood of contacting you.
