How social networking can be used in your digital marketing and inbound marketing strategies.
Twitter is not the social network preferred by companies as a marketing channel, but it should be taken into account if you want to strengthen your digital presence. With 350 million active users monthly, the bluebird network is more popular than ever, and more than 42% of people who have Twitter account access the app every day to send hundreds of millions of tweets.
In addition, a large part of Twitter users are part of the millennium generation. According to the Financial Times, the Millennials have become the world's most powerful consumers.
So, depending on your business, it's worth putting Twitter on social media planning, for the attraction of leads and customers.

5 Reasons Twitter is Good for Business
1. Connect with customers
Twitter offers a platform to connect with your customers at any time of day. For example, you can use the network to ask feedback from your followers or answer your questions. It has been proven that many consumers go on Twitter to contact companies and brands.
Many customers are also on the platform and you can create surveys or marketing campaigns that talk to this audience.
2. Free marketing
Twitter is free. You don't have to pay to be on Twitter and you don't have to pay to tweet. You just need to create a tweet and with one click you have the potential to reach all your followers online without paying anything!
Your company can benefit from reaching your Twitter audience at no additional cost. However, there is already a paid option of the platform, called “Twitter Blue”, which I will count on later.
3. Keep an eye on the competition
Your customers or prospects are using Twitter, but your competitors are using Twitter. This gives your company a great opportunity to find out what's going on with who you're fighting for sales.
Consumer users of certain brands can share complaints or suggestions publicly with their competitors on Twitter, which can also be considered a feedback to your company.
You can analyze this and see where your company can improve, collect important information and implement it to ensure that your company meets the needs of your target audience.
4. Creative interaction
We've already covered how your company can use Twitter to connect with the customers you already own, but it doesn't end there. You can also use Twitter to interact with potential customers interested in your product.
The “Time Matters” or trending topics, always have actions of large companies that promote impacting interactions and consequently sales. Many ideas can be used for creative campaigns and the search for new followers.
5. Increase sales
Research shows that 60% of a brand's followers are more likely to buy or recommend products after following the Twitter brand. This shows how powerful Twitter can be for your business. Twitter is not only a platform for you to interact with people, but also for your business to increase sales and increase your revenue.

How to optimize your Twitter business account
Twitter profiles are very objective, so each element counts. There are seven main parts to leave your brand round, ready to conquer followers.
- Banner (or background) image
- Profile photo (overrides background)
- Name of your brand or company
- @Username / Twitter Identifier. Ex: @yourcompany
- Description / Bio (detail what you do or sell in the foreground)
- Link (URL) of the website or page
- Fixed Tweet (ideal for launching campaigns)
Having done this initial setting is just going to go in search of followers, after all, you don't want to be talking to a desert. So start by following profiles of your interest.
Remember that it is a commercial account, so seek to follow profiles that have to do or are similar to your business model. Unlike a personal account, the commercial profile needs to follow people and partners who add value to the brand. As you follow, you will gain other followers too.
Start by spreading
Create at least five posts to appear on the timeline and start to advertise on other social networks (facebook, instagram, linkedIn). Put a button on the site to target Twitter or even as an element on the site, with feed update.
Include Twitter on Linktr.ee, which is usually used on Instagram Bio. Add the social network share button to your blog posts, for more reach and with some investment it is still possible to rely on the help of influencers who are on the network.
Another option is sponsored network posts (or ads) that I will explain better now!

Twitter Blue
Recently, the social network has created a premium subscription service called Twitter Blue, an optional paid monthly subscription that offers blue stamp to the account and early access to select new features such as Edit Tweet and see fewer ads on the feed.
In Brazil, Twitter Blue prices start at R$60 monthly or R$629.00 annually, depending on the contracted plan.
The main benefit is the check seal. The blue seal was thus far free, but granted only to large companies, government agencies, media entities, artists and public figures.
With the check stamp, a Twitter account gains greater prominence, including for viewing in answers, mentions and searches. But the blue icon will only be released to Twitter Blue subscribers who have authenticated mobile number and prior approval.
Twitter Blue resources

Golden Twitter Seal for Business
The network is still testing another paid access mode: OTwitter verified organizations. A new service still under test for corporate entities on the platform. Subscribers to this service receive a gold stamp, which designates the account to be owned by an official Twitter company.
Conclusion
As I mentioned at the beginning of the text, Twitter is still underestimated by many companies, which give preference to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. However, with the evolution of the platform, try at least testing a differentiated target audience by applying the focus on relationship for sales.
The tips are there, enjoy!
